About me

Across the different paths my career has taken, one conviction has remained constant: that the work I do should contribute, in some meaningful way, to a more sustainable, equitable and just world.

This journey began in 2015, when I hitchhiked to Alaska and worked on an ecological farm in the Yukon. The experience transformed my relationship with nature and redirected my career as an electrical engineer. In 2016, I co-founded Nectar, an agricultural technology company dedicated to improving honeybee health and building more sustainable pollination-based agricultural systems, where I spent four years as CTO.

Moving to Peru marked another turning point. Exposure to different social and economic realities made me increasingly aware of inequality and vulnerability, leading me to bring the skills and entrepreneurial mindset I had developed through Nectar into international development, particularly through my work with Oxfam.

Today, through Salkan Advisory & Consulting, I am completing the circle: bringing what I have learned from international development back into the organizational and private-sector world. I combine entrepreneurship, innovation and management with social and environmental impact practices to help organizations operate, make decisions and create value more responsibly.

In my free time, I enjoy experimental music, exploring new ideas in mathematics, physics and philosophy, and participating in local initiatives of my neighborhood.
